Inflating the Berlin Bubble in October

German capital Berlin will once more be the European hub of all things Web in October. BarcampBerlin3, O’Reilly’s Web2.0Expo Europe, cozy real-life Pl0gbar meetings and more are taking place within a week when the city will be buzzing with creatives, developers, webmongers and other 2.0-y folk.

Peter is already getting all excited and has something cool in store with Johannes. It will all happen on BerlinBlase (the Berlin Bubble), so watch that space.

Needless to say, I’ll be around, too and look forward to meeting everyone. Bubble on!

BarCamp Berlin 3, ich komme!

Ich hatte mich ja schon gefragt, ob das Orgateam des BarCamp Berlin im Oktober etwas eingedöst sei, aber heute Vormittag twitterte prompt ein kleiner Rätselwettbewerb rein, der dem ersten Lösenden garantierten Eintritt und ein Konferenzticket zur Web2.0Expo versprach.

Und siehe da, ich hab’s gewonnen! Freu mich im Quadrat und schicke ein dickes DANKE! an Cheforgamann @tobetop. Es wird mein erstes Barcamp und das ist schon Grund genug, aufgeregt zu sein. Grübele noch über meinem Beitrag, aber dazu zu gegebener Zeit mehr.

Die offizielle Anmeldung jedenfalls startet Sonntag oder Montag und die Location verspricht Platz und Hightech. Die Deutsche Telekom ist so nett, die Hauptstadtrepräsentanz für die Barcamper zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Die zweite Regel des Barcamp lautet: “You do blog about BarCamp.”, was hiermit geschehen ist. More to come.
